The first in a series of InfoBriefs pertaining to Precarious Employment in Peterborough has been released.
Back in 2016, roughly 800 residents were contacted and requested to fill out questions in regards to their employment.
One of the several results found in the survey discovered that almost two-thirds of workers in the area are precariously employed.
Health Promoter at Peterborough Public Health, Monique Beneteau, says the purpose of the survey is to start conversations about employment, work conditions and policies.
There are a total of 8 InfoBriefs with the rest of the results to be released in the coming months.
