Peterborough Police are looking after a residential break-in. Yesterday, the culprit made off with XBox controllers, a game and iPod from a home on Easthill Drive. The combined value of the items stolen is about $880.

Peterborough County OPP say a Douro-Dummer man was, in fact, killed by a falling tree. OPP and emergency responders raced to a home on Peterborough County Road 6 yesterday just before 6 in the evening when an elderly man was found dead.
