DRUGS, STOLEN PRODUCTS AND A WEAPON SEIZED BY POLICE

Five have been charged after police executed two search warrants yesterday. Police say they went into a McDonnel Street home and seized a loaded 38 caliber handgun, more than 15 thousand in cash, brass knuckles, scales, cocaine and an unknown quantity of pills that are to be examined.

FAMILIAR SIGHT IN LITTLE LAKE IS OUT OF COMMISSION THIS WEEKEND

The Centennial Fountain won't be operational in time for the Victoria Day fireworks display. City officials say that because of high and fast water in Little Lake, crews haven't been able to venture out into the water to complete the repair necessary for the seasonal start of the fountain.

NO CHARGES BEING LAID IN INJURED ANIMAL INVESTIGATION

OPP in Northumberland have determined that their investigation into an injured muskrat is not criminal in nature. Officials put out the request for information after the animal was discovered inside a diaper box near the boat launch area on Plank Road in Gores Landing.

Peterborough Police are asking you for help to find a missing 14 year-old girl. Investigators say Jaden Burton was last seen around 11 o'clock in the morning on May 9th at Adam Scott High School.
