OPP are at the scene of a downed hydro pole on Highway 28. They have shut down the road north of Stoney Lake Road and traffic is being rerouted. Hydro crews are on the scene, but there is no time table as to when the road will reopen.

A convicted dangerous offender will be back in court facing a charge of obstructing justice. Stanley Tippett is accused of passing notes to another inmate, asking him to testify on his behalf while he appealed his sex assault and kidnapping conviction.

A 28 year-old Peterborough man is facing charges after being found in possession of two stolen vehicles. City police located the two vehicles in a parking lot near Lock and Princess and Lock and Ware Streets on Monday.

Police are looking for 21 year old Alan Beddow of Wolsely Street. He is the suspected shooter at the Times Square Building at Hunter and Armour and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

EARLY MORNING DRUG RAID LEADS TO 18 ARRESTS

18 people are in police custody including one resident from Bancroft and one from Pontypool following an investigation dubbed Project Bermuda. Police executed 22 search warrants in several communities and laid 73 charges.
