A 25 year old man is facing a slew of charges following an early morning incident. The man, is currently on probation stemming from a previous domestic incident where he is required to be of good behaviour and keep the peace.

Plenty of parents and students will be educating themselves on the jump from elementary to high school. Crestwood is holding a Grade 8 Information Night for students who will be starting at the school in 2015. The event is being run from 7 until 8:30 p.m.

CITY POLICE WARN ABOUT 'MYSTERY SHOPPER' SCAM

A recent incident of fraud in Peterborough has prompted a warning from City police. Last Tuesday, officials say a 59 year-old woman applied online to be a mystery shopper and through that scam, provided a false employer with almost $2,000.

ADAM SCOTT LIONS SET FOR OFSAA SENIOR AAA FOOTBALL FINAL IN HAMILTON

The Adam Scott Lions are going for football glory in Hamilton. The team is playing in the OFSAA Senior AAA Championship game at Ron Joyce Stadium, the home of the McMaster Marauders. Adam Scott will battle the A.N. Myer Marauders of Niagara Falls, with kick-off scheduled for 12:45 p.m.

The cause of a fire at an apartment near Sherbrooke and Rubidge is still being determined. Crews were called in just before 3:00 p.m. yesterday and had to force their way into the unit, which was on the second-floor above a laundromat.

PRHC GETS VISIT FROM NATIONAL PATIENT SATISFACTION RESEARCH FIRM

The PRHC is in rarefied air when it comes to Ontario hospitals about the same size. Today, a team from the Picker Institute is visiting the hospital to learn about some of the centre's best practices. Picker is a national patient satisfaction research firm.
